The panel/LCD adds another $40 and it doesn't even have jog buttons. How much that value is worth is different for every person. In order to use a Ruida with a K40 you would have to add a 24v PSU, external stepper drivers, and then wire all that up, so factor the total cost, time spent, and skill required over a 'drop in' solution like the Cohesion3D. It's not 2/3 as good as a Ruida controller. So this is actually a better value than our previous board. The power supply is included in the $200 price. There are 4 drivers built in which means that it can drive a Z Table and a Rotary directly from the board. The LaserBoard has built in Trinamic stepper drivers which are very quiet, result in smoother motion, and can drive more current than step-sticks.
